Caroline Street (No Nay Never x Harvestfortheworld (IRE)) claimed an easy victory at Kentucky Downs in an Allowance Optional Claiming race over One Mile.
Although filly had yet to pass the finish in front this year, she had always shown quite a bit of talent in her past form and trackwork. We couldn’t be happier that the penny finally dropped for her during one of the most lucrative racing meets!
Caroline Street broke alertly before she settled into her typical stalking position under jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. The filly still had quite a bit of ground to make up around the final turn, with just three horses behind her upon entering the stretch. Irad asked for run as the field leveled out for the run home and Caroline Street obliged willingly to circle the field with one furlong left. The filly continued to quicken through the finish to pass the pole a two length winner. It was a facile victory for this talented filly and we look forward to seeing what else she can achieve this Autumn.
Congratulations to winning connections Fergus Galvin and Marc Detampel.
