Hope Mission (Medaglia D’Oro x Arabian Hope) added valuable Black Type to her record this afternoon. The four-year-old filly has always shown plenty of talent and we are pleased to see her add a Stakes victory to her resumé.
The filly began well and settled into a lovely rhythm on the rail under jockey Tyler Gaffalione. She tracked the leaders through most of the running before she was tipped out and asked for run at the top of the straight. Hope Mission wore down a tough inside opponent with less than a sixteenth left to run and crossed the finish a one length winner.
