Forever After All (Connect x Julia Tuttle) finally secured a Graded Stakes victory in the Grade Three La Prevoyante Stakes at Gulfstream Park on Pegasus World Cup day. The six-year-old mare has been knocking on the door at the Graded Stakes level through most of 2024 so we couldn’t be happier to see her earn a well deserved win.
The mare began the one and a half mile event nicely and relaxed into a rhythm towards the back of the field. She continued to bowl along comfortably on the rail through the first mile for jockey Tyler Gaffalione. She began to improve her position to be within a couple lengths of the leaders but remained covered up as the field cornered the far turn and entered the top of the stretch. Tyler was able to tip the mare out with a little over a furlong to run and Forever After All exploded towards the finish. She was able to get up just in time to win by a nose on the wire.
It was an impressive finish for this royally bred half sister to multiple Grade One Winner and stallion Toms d’Etat. Forever After All has been multiple Graded Stakes placed on multiple occasions since her arrival to our stable and we are pleased to get her to the Winner’s Circle on an international stage. Congratulations to winning owners Dixiana Farms and all others connected with this talented mare.
