Forget About You (Starman (UK) X Bodak (IRE)) delivered an eye-catching performance to break her maiden in impressive fashion at Horseshoe Indianapolis.
The filly enjoyed a straightforward trip throughout, settling comfortably in mid-division as the field travelled through even early fractions. Always moving with purpose, she travelled kindly for Alberto Burgos before being angled to the outside approaching the home turn.
Once asked for her effort, Forget About You produced a smart turn of foot. Sweeping past her rivals with authority inside the final furlong, she quickly put the race beyond doubt to score convincingly.
It was the manner of victory that was particularly encouraging. She looked to have plenty left in reserve as she crossed the line, suggesting this performance is just the beginning and that there is plenty more to come as she continues to develop.
