Miso Spicy (FR) (Mehmas (IRE) x Karishma (IRE)) ran her foes off their feet in a five furlong Maiden Special Weight at Gulfstream Park. The three-year-old filly has been knocking at the door all Winter and we are pleased to see her graduate impressively this time out.
Miso Spicy (FR) broke sharply and gave her opponents little time to catch up as she took the lead within a few strides from the gate. The filly sprinted away with an easy lead to take the field through fast opening fractions. Miso Spicy (FR) continued to run the field off their feet through the far turn and opened her winning margin down the straight to secure a facile victory under jockey Edgard Zayas.
