Paris Lily (City of Light x Storm Lily) relished the soggy conditions on Keeneland’s Opening Day to secure a three-quarter length victory for Brendan Walsh Racing.
Unfazed by the poor weather, Paris Lily remained a consummate professional throughout the running of this mile and a sixteenth Allowance event. The filly broke well and got into stride quickly to lead the field through the entirety of the race. She bowled along in a good rhythm over the sealed track despite some pressure from an outside opponent. Paris Lily continued to find more run as Joel Rosario asked her to find the finish and crossed the wire three-quarters of a length victor.
Congratulations to winning Owner/Breeder Godolphin and thank you jockey Joel Rosario for an excellent ride. We look forward to getting this filly back to the races this Spring/Summer.
