Majestic Drive Goes Two-For-Two At Gulfstream Park

Majestic Drive (Quality Road x Rare Day (IRE)) continued her winning ways with a rail-skimming victory at Gulfstream Park today. The three-year-old filly has gone strength to strength since her debut and now boasts a record of two wins from three starts.

Sourced by Bradley thoroughbreds at the 2023 Keeneland September Sale, this bay filly began her racing career at Tampa Bay Downs in February. She improved from her first start to win a Maiden Claiming race in March and trained forwardly coming into this one mile Starter Allowance. Majestic Drive broke well and got into stride quickly to establish position just behind the leaders for jockey Edgard Zayas. She bowled along in facile fashion to maintain her position down the backstretch and into the far turn. As the field turned for home, the filly was able to sneak up the rail and take the lead with less than a furlong to run, crossing the finish a three-quarter-length victor.

Congratulations to this filly’s large ownership group; the penny certainly seems to have dropped for this daughter of Quality Road and we look forward to seeing what she can achieve moving forward.
