Ridden by jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr, Clicquot broke well and settled into a stalking position through the early stages of running. She traveled comfortably behind the leaders and looked well within herself as the field moved down the backstretch and into the far turn. Irad appeared to have a ton of horse underneath him as the field quickened around the far turn and picked off a few tiring competitors before straightening for home. Upon straightening, Clicquot let down to find the finish and saw off two tough opponents to secure Grade One victory by a half length on the wire.

We are elated to see Clicquot score in this Grade One affair for her Owners X Men Racing IV, Madaket Stables LLC and SF Racing LLC. Congratulations to the team at Brendan Walsh Racing and all others connected to this special filly.
