Use Me (Starman X Vociferous) delivered a highly encouraging performance to break her maiden in style at Keeneland, providing owners JDT Racing with another exciting prospect to follow this season.
Breaking evenly with the field from the gates, Use Me quickly found her rhythm before settling comfortably just behind the leaders while travelling three wide down the backstretch. Tyler Gaffalione kept the filly in a perfect stalking position as the early pace remained honest.
Approaching the home turn, the tempo began to quicken and Use Me responded beautifully. Swinging wide into the stretch, the filly produced an electric turn of foot that immediately separated her from the field.
From there, Use Me drew clear with every stride, ultimately scoring a cosy two-length victory while appearing to have plenty left in reserve at the wire. Congratulations to owners JDT Racing.
